This hidden gem in East Cobb is one of the best Japanese restaurants you'll find anywhere in metro Atlanta. Family owned and operated, Ege's Menu is mostly catered towards the Japanese palette, as opposed to your standard version of American sushi joints. In addition to the freshest sushi and sashimi, you'll find traditional and authentic Japanese dishes like home made Udon soup, whole fried tempura Makarel, as well as a rotating lunch special every day of the week. The portions are pleantiful, and their lunch prices are unbeatable. On weekends there's a line out the door!

We love Ege! Run by a Japanese family who are always so nice to us and remembers our favorite items! They have a lot of Japanese specials for dinner and a daily lunch special, catering to Japanese customers. Give those a try if you want to try something different and authentic.

Nice place with very friendly wait staff but meager portions. Thinly sliced sushi. Not worth the price.For better all around experience, higher quality good, and better prices check out Minato near the battery

Simply the best Japan has to offer right here in our backyard. Be sure to try something on the Japanese menu. The American menu is good but it is "American." Ask what to try and the waitresses will be very helpful. When sitting at the Sushi bar be sure to offer to buy a beer for your Sushi Chef. Always ask the Chef what he recommends. Between the beer and the respect you will have a wonderful night!

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE HOURS IN ADVANCE. This is a solid Japanese-Sushi spot. The lunch specials can't be beat for the price. Just be careful about when you plan to go. I've shown up to a locked door here more than once because I didn't check the hours.

THE best sushi. It's so good, it'll ruin all other sushi for you because you'll be constantly comparing it to Ege, and saying "It's not ege..." It's so worth it. Go here, you will not be disappointed.

Unfriendly staff and some of the worst sushi I've ever had. The rice was actually gummy! Definitely not authentic.

The food and atmosphere were excellent. The service was really good too. As a heads up refills on soda aren't free but the value for quality of food I found to be very reasonable. 10/10 will visit again! Oh, and try the green tea ice cream. You wont be dissapointed!

They restaurant is a little small, I went around lunch time on a week day. The server was so nice and attentive and everything arrived quickly. All of the sushi I got was fantastic, especially the Hamachi. It felt like a little piece of Japan right here in Cobb county.

Great environment and great food! the building is pretty small, but it gives off family vibes. Our server was very sweet and attentive, made sure we were taken care of. Just moved down the street and wanted to try some good spots to eat, and we will absolutely be returning here! Would recommend for sure

Ege has been our favorite Japanese spot for years. The small family of staff will get to know you quickly and go out of their way to improve your visit. I recommend them (in person) to everyone looking for sushi in the area.

Great food, great service.

There was a great buzz in here on Thursday evening. We originally planned to go to a restaurant close by but it was empty so we walked in and ate here instead. It was about 7.30 ish and the close at 9.30 weeknights. The waitstaff were very efficient and even suggested what way the meat should be cooked to get the full flavour. The sake at $4.00 for a small serving was excellent taste and value and plenty for one person. The calamari appetizer was tasteless and disappointing but the main course made up for it. Would definitely go back. I like the size, small and cosy.

My Spicy Tuna Roll was mused like a tuna hamburger. The owner gave me a hard time when I asked to send it back and told me this is the way restaurants make spicy tuna rolls in Georgia. There was no tuna fillet on top and it look gross, like tuna scrape.

It is a very small, authentic Japanese restaurant. They have a good mix of more traditional Japanese dishes and more americanized ones. My kids love to go there and are treated very nicely by the staff.

One of the best places to get sushi in the entirety of Cobb county. The fish is only the most top quality and every time I've been here has been amazing.

Our first visit and truly enjoyable. The sashimi was fresh the yellowtail was melt in your mouth. Extensive menu with some things never seen at other Japanese restaurants. Friendly attentive service and affordable!

You know the restaurant is authentic when you get a handwritten appetizer menu written with native translations....the food was excellent and served quickly. I'm used to Americanized Japanese, the friend I went with has traveled through Asia and experienced the real deal cuisine...we were both impressed. You can tell they put a lot of care into preparation and presentation. I got chicken teriyaki and a bamboo roll, my friend got the sashimi dinner. The green tea ice cream is out of this world, too. The location is small, maybe about 5 tables (fitting 4-6 people each) and a sushi bar. It is an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Despite its size, people are served and leave in a timely fashion. Staff is friendly, and the servers appear to speak both Japanese and English fluently. Parking is good, bathrooms are clean.

This sushi place is owned by a Japanese family, and I love their lunch specials. You can have more of the authentic sushi or the American sushi roll, like their California or spicy tuna rolls. They have noodles, meat, fish, you name it! Highly recommend.

Delicious sushi, one of the best of East Cobb, authentic well made sushi rolls. Highly recommend this place. Handwritten menus are signs of great start to your meal.

Went for lunch. Menu is streamlined, but good variety. Very quick and wonderfully tasty. Udon was fantastic. Great quality and value for the price point.

OMG, EGE is slinging some of THE best sushi in all of Metro Atlanta and is way better than places that charge three times more!

They are doing curbside take-out and the quality is as good as ever!
